Methodology
Confidence describes how strong our evidence is that an app works well on Googlebook. It is set from published sources, never from payment.
Play labels are reported from Google and reputable outlets, with source links on every app page. When no source reports a label, we say so.
Sponsorship never changes an app's confidence, its reported label, or its order inside editorial lists. Sponsored placements are always marked Sponsored.
Confidence levels
- high
- Google features it for Googlebook, or a reputable outlet reports its Play desktop label or a Googlebook launch
- medium
- Google Play keyboard and mouse editorial pick, or reviewer reports it working well on Googlebook
- low
- Google recommends it for large screen laptops (Chromebook list); Googlebook label unconfirmed
Play desktop labels
Google Play shows five desktop labels on Googlebook. Google applies them; developers cannot set them directly. Labels are only visible on device inside Play, so we report what reviewers and Google have published and link the source.
