Sponsor a listing on Googlebook Apps

Built an Android app that shines on a Googlebook? We'd love to help more Googlebook owners find it.

Googlebook Apps (googlebookapps.com) is a curated directory of Android apps that work well on Googlebooks, Google's Android laptops. Sponsorship gives your app extra visibility with readers who are actively looking for apps that fit a bigger screen, a keyboard, and a trackpad.

How sponsorship works

  1. Every sponsored placement is clearly labeled "Sponsored" on the site, with a visible "Sponsored" pill on the card. Readers always know what's paid and what's editorial.
  2. Sponsorship does not buy editorial inclusion or reviews. Our curated listings, picks, and reviews are decided independently, and paying for a placement has no effect on them.
  3. Sponsorship never changes editorial order or ratings. Rankings, curated order, editorial picks, and verification or confidence ratings are set independently. A sponsored placement never moves an app up in editorial lists or changes its rating, and the Sponsored slot sits apart from the curated order.
  4. We work with paid sponsorships only. We don't accept free products, free licenses, or promo codes in place of payment.
  5. Sponsorship doesn't include testing or reviews. A sponsored placement is a promotional spot, not a commitment to test, review, or write about your app.

Placement types

  1. Sponsored slot in a category or collection. One pinned spot at the top of a category or collection list, shown with your app's standard card and labeled Sponsored.
  2. Featured sponsored spot. Up to 2 slots in the home page Featured row, labeled Sponsored. Sponsored apps never take up more than half of the row.

Booking and eligibility

  1. Weekly blocks. Placements run in 7-day weekly blocks. Book one week or several consecutive weeks.
  2. First come, first served. Slots are booked in the order confirmed requests come in.
  3. One slot per surface. Each app can hold at most one active slot per surface (one category or collection slot, one Featured slot).
  4. Same large-screen bar as every app. Your app must already be in our verified catalog or pass our verification check for Googlebook and large-screen support. Payment never replaces this check.
  5. Clear labeling. Every sponsored card shows the word "Sponsored" in a visible pill.

Payment

  1. We send an invoice on acceptance. Once your app passes our verification check and your placement is accepted, we send you an invoice for the booking. Every placement and invoice is approved before it goes out. The invoice is due on receipt.
  2. No card payments on the site. There's no checkout on Googlebook Apps. Payment is handled by invoice only.
  3. Live only after payment. Your slot goes live only after payment clears, starting the next day and running for the weeks you booked.

Pricing shared on request.
